Ok guys need some advice
I have Avid Elixir R brakes on my bike (Canyon Strive)
My mate has offered me some Hope M4's for a really good price
Honest opinions, which is the better brake??
Having never used Hope's and only Avid's before i can't compare.

I have never really liked the Avids to be honest. They stop ok but are horrid to setup and keep up to. I had to bleed em twice already since June

Avids are a pain to bleed but are great when working properly
Hopes are easy to bleed but are clunky
Ideal world would be hope reliability and maintenance and the feel and performance of Avids
