I'm just about to change from Shimano brakes to Hope brakes. I current run a Shimano XT 203mm front and 180mm rear both post mount. Will i need to purchase Hope specific adaptors or will they work with the Shimano adaptors? Shimano XT calipers to Hope Tech3 E4

Depends on the adapter... the Shimano 160-203 post-to-post does foul a E4. You can file it. 160 to 180 ones are usually fine.

Front is a 203mm however fitted to RS Pike debonair which is a 180mm post mount on the fork. So i guess a 160-180mm could work with shims.
