Late last year I got a Specialized Pitch to replace my ageing Trance built up over a few years. The Pitch came with Hayes (Stroker?) Trail discs. At first I thought that the brakes just needed bedding in as they were a bit wooden and without much bite or power. 6 months down the line this is still the case, so i'd like to swap them out for my Magura Louise brakes currently residing on the spare bike (that came from my Trance) as these have more power and bite even on smaller rotors.

The hose is too short (currently Goodridge), so I need some new hoses. I was tempted to swap the back hose to the front, thus only needing one.

I need some options. Don't really want to pay £30 for a single Goodridge hose. Hel are only a few quid cheaper.

Has anyone tried the Jagwire Hyflow hoses? I like the cheap price and nice colours, but have heard that they can expand a touch as they aren't steel braided.

ANyone tried the Discobrakes hose?

Have I missed any other options for my Magura Louise?

Cheers in advance for the help.

Dave
