The girlfriend is convinced she has to have a BPA free bottle. Anyone know any makes? Camelbak show their Better Bottle is bpa free on the website but doesn't seem to be listed as such on websites e.g. wiggle, merlin etc so are there different types? Doesn't have to fit into bottle cage so not fussed about size.
Cheers, Chris
A what now?
The better bottle won't fit in a bike cage.
*/ cartwheels into thread expecting a BPA / PSA confusion issue and expecting to get a freebie water water bottle */
cartwheels out contemplating Mars foot/rubgyball freebie no-show ๐
Oh, yeah, same as Geoff. I thought there were free bottles on offer!
Camelbak Podium is what you need- apparently that's BPA free too.
What does BPA do? Kill kittens?
Ta looks like Camelbak it is then-just read all the blurb on camelbak website and does look like their all ok.
Apparently bpa is the latest cancer causer that leaches into water as normal plastic starts to biodegrade or something.
Pfff, I'm a cyclist. A 24 hour race takes a year off my life, I'm a dead set for erectile disfunction and I have a sore arse from the saddle. I doubt I'd even notice cancer of the water bottle.
So I take it there's no ham shanks allowed in your house either, I feel sorry for you.
Hehe-feel free to try and convey that to her but some times there's just no rationalising with the woman!!
camelback podiums are nice bottles - Mr Merlin was selling them pretty cheap a while ago, if your LBS doesn't
