have a trek 4700 frame that needs a new bottom bracket, any ideas folks?

73 x 113 as a guess

What year is it on?
WHat cranks are you using? Shimano deore?
Take out the old BB and it will have numbers printed on that.

thanks for the advice, i've already got a shimano lx UN54 bb, and hope it's the right one, just wanted to see if anyone new the exact one required before i started changing the bb.

According to [url= http://www.sheldonbrown.com/bbsize.html ]Sheldon Brown[/url] it should be 113mm if its square taper? (un54 is?) or 113 isis
is it a 68 or 73?
