A few of you tried to help me sort an issue with my new BOS devilles. In the end we determined that they were faulty so back to R53 they went
In short the air preload was leaking into the fork lowers and basically pressuring the whole left leg, to the point where it ultimately blew the seal away at the top.
Psycle Werx (my superb LBS) had them off and back to R53 on Monday morning (after a quick chat with Roger from R53). He received them Tuesday (he texted me to let mme know). They fixed them. Apparently an easy fix - faulty o ring, and fired them back, Again text sent to let me know.
Psycle Werx received them and fitted them yesterday and I rode them for around 3 hours today. All seems well
So whilst the fork not working right from the off, was a real pain, I cannot commend Psycle Werx and R53 highly enogh, on how well and quickly they resolved it. I know at that price we should all expect that service. Alas that is not always the case.
So hopefully that is the end of the matter. Will post a review in the next few weeks and compare to the Fox 36's and Lyriks I have had. Early impressions are the Devilles are a step up from both 🙂

Yes these things are a pain when they happen to a bran new product, but good on them both for resolving the matter quickly and efficiently. Bonus is that you can ride this weekend too.
Alright for you getting your forks back so quick. I ordered a pair of Devilles through my LBS 3 weeks ago and still waiting for them 🙁 was hoping to play with them over Easter, now i'm wondering if i'll even have them for the next gravity enduro round!!!
