Just hired a Bob Yak trailer for a three day trip over Easter, but I'm confused about how the dry bag attaches to the trailer. There doesn't seem any obvious way of clipping/strapping it down to the trailer bed to stop it bouncing out. Is it supposed to just stay on there through gravity, or do I just use my own strap/bungy to hold it down, or am I missing something obvious? Hire place is now closed for the holidays so I can't ask them...
weigh of the contents usually holds mine in but i put a few bungees on to make sure ๐
Mine came supplied with a bungy.
However it's so big that you will inevitably overpack and you'll have to jump up & down on it to fit it into the trailer anyway. Where upon it'll never come out again.
Bungee.
BoB don't mess about with complicated clips and such! There should, however, be some little bosses welded on to hook a bungee on to.
Actually, now I think about it, BoB did supply a sort of 4-way bungee on the trailer I used...
bungy
Ok, thanks guys. Didn't get a bungy with it, but can certainly put one of mine on there. My first trip with a trailer, looking forward to seeing how it compares to panniers...
So, PerthMTB, how did it compare to panniers?
