Has this tyre had it? It's a 28mm WTB ThickSlick. Pulled out a sharp stone and left with a pretty big hole. These tyres are supposedly designed for the urban jungle and very thick, but I think this would be pushing it?

If the damage has gone through to the inside, I'd bin it. If it's just the rubber - then glue.

Should be a thumbnail to an image above,

If you can fit your thumbnail in there, bin.

It would depend on what I used it for IMHO, rear tyre on a pub bike or weekend plodder I'd risk it as its not terribly problematic if I end up walking or putting a boot in it to get me home.
commute or the like where its likely to be a real pita and ruin my day, I'd bin it.

Tyre mushroom would fix that surely?

Worth a go, or use an anchovy?

But maybe you'd feel a little bump on every revolution then?

"super glue"

Reminds me of a time I had a puncture and a helpful chap on the trail offered me a puncture repair kit, I gladly accepted and set about fixing my tube. Put some of the "vulcanising fluid" on my tube and give it a run around with my finger, wait a minute this doesn't feel like it normally does..... next thing my fingers are stuck together, he had replaced given me super glue to repair the tube with in lieu of vulcanising fluid! Tube ruined, fingers stuck together, great.

I'd patch it and carry on using it.

I had this in a GP5000, just patched it and continued to ride it until the TWI wore down.

I'd patch the inside and glue the outside

Think I'll patch up and just keep it on the rear of the town bike.
Cheers all.
