Popped up in one of the facebook groups I'm in. NOT my bikes
"Never had to deal with the police until today, so never had much of an opinion!
However what an amazing job the force in Cannock did Today..
We finished our long ride, locked the bikes in the van in the main car park & grabbed some food. When we returned all 3 bikes had been taken! An old guy seen it from a distance & immediately phoned the police & named the car & direction they drove off in before we had even realised they were missing. Within 30 minutes after we called them ourselves, 2 of the bikes had been found including my own, then 10 minutes after came through the radio they knew the rough area the other had been seen to be stashed & that was retrieved also. Amazing job & acted so fast!
So people in the Cannock area be careful ! & also if you own a new Ford Transit Custom they can be broken in to ridiculously easy so be careful what’s inside!"

Glad you got the bikes back. Credit to the police for a great job.
Did they catch the thieving scrotes?
How did they get in the van?
This was one of my mates, the transits are broken into by a screwdriver in the drivers door lock and it opens straight up. There's currently an update which stops the back doors beimg opened from the front when the vans locked, worth getting done if you own one!
I put a small paperclip in the lock barrel of my old Ford connect after I got done, to prevent it from happening again.
Bikes just loose in the back of the van? I must say Im not happy doing that. They are always chained to the inside of the van if I have to leave them.
If anyone has a Citroen then it is even easier, no trace left!
I really like how those videos do the rounds on Facebook, and then helpful people tag everyone with the affected vehicle, so the scrotes know how to break in, and where to find one...
