[Closed] Bike Insurance question

I’m getting delivery of a Whyte T130 works soon. Being £3,000.00, I really need to get it insured. I don’t have contents insurance) and live in a shared house.

However, I have no requirement to insure it out of the house, as it won’t be used for commuting etc. So I simply want to insure it for inside the house (not in the garden).

Is there bike insurance out there that offers this alone, or is getting a contents policy (+special item endorsement) the only real way? If so, can anyone recommend a cheap, but decent policy?

Thanks a lot.

Contents only is the best option, it'll even be covered by the sum insured 50/100k with some mainstream insurers

directline select premier seem to only care that it's locked up up to about £10k. If it's outside the house it has to be locked to "an immovable object" so not a car.
