So I ordered a new bike on Wednesday. Supposed to be delivered today. Nothing arrived by early afternoon so I chased it up. I was told the courier delivered it this morning. I wasn't in (I was), so they left it with a neighbour. They don't know what number but they have a name. I don't recognise the name. No card through the door.

So bike shop calls courier. Number 3 they say. I try number 3 - they say no. Bike shop calls courier again. Number 4 they say. Or maybe number 6. It try both of those - they say no.

Bike shop calls courier again. They send the courier back to work it out. Courier arrives with bike that he had left about three streets away. F#@ktard.

Anyway, I have the bike. All excited now I open the box. Wrong bike. Bloody hacked off. I wanted to ride it this weekend. Have to wait until Tuesday now.

What a bunch of muppets.

I suppose a friday "name & shame" would be out of the question?

So it wasn't a Cannondale Trail SS in the box then?

Deffo sounds like Yodel and their amazing Parcel Delivery Trebuchet

Here's a pic of my local Yodel Depot

The OP ordered a Cannondale earlier this week so I doubt On One can be blamed for this.

Although on this forum I'm sure someone will manage it.

Blame PX anyway, we probably deserve it.

This thread, like the unnamed companies involved, really doesn't deliver.

Parcel Farce lost mu Sub5 many years ago.

It appeared a week+ later! with box having been opened and pedals installed and then shoved back in the box...
