I'm off to the Trans Rockies this August 😀 and flying the bike with Air Canada. Whilst I have a bike bag already from previous trips AirCanada stipulate that the bike must be in a hard shell case otherwise they make you sign a waiver for luggage damage. I don't want to buy a case for one trip so wondered if anybody knew of a hire service for bike cases? Overall dimensions (length+width+height) has to be 292cm or less
Any ideas?
I rented one from Brixton cycles a few years back for a weeks trip to spain. Fitted in my 21.5" hardtail no problem.
Cost about £40 if i recall.
Ralph Colman Cycles in Taunton have a bike box available depending on where your based!
Alan's Boxes rent them out but only in the Rotherham area I think
