Hi folks - i was wondering if anyone had advice on a bike bag for a 29-er; wheelbase 1220mm; fork 160mm.  Is there any sense in simply looking at a cardboard box?

I can fit my geometron g15 29er in an evoc bag, I just have to spin the forks 180°, and take the caliper off.

If you want to go the cardboard box route, I think Cannondale ones were the largest.

Unless it's xxl then an evoc should do it fine.

I ended up with the Evoc XL for my XL whyte - wheelbase is 1250 with stretched forks and it goes in with a shoehorn! No damage going to or from Spain! There is a guy in Weston super mare who rents them so worth a chat/email with him.

Just pop the forks out. Had to that to mine, only adds five mins to the rebuild at the other end.

Have a L Aeris AM9, 1265mm wheelbase.

Which bags does it fit?
