[#201556]

I've recently seen a few items that are waaaaaay cheaper than CRC. In my haste to order them I clicked on the wrong size. They turned up, I sent 'em back and had the replacements all inside a week - OUTSTANDING

(no I'm not on comission)

Aye, they are very good.

SLX chainset ordered yesterday. Cheaper than anywhere else. Free postage. Already been delivered to home 😀

Merlin used to be my staple source of parts, they went a bit pricey and a bit awol for a while IMO but have dragged it back - I too have noticed they're damn fast and cheaper than CRC on some items too. They also used to build spectacular quality wheels, no idea if they still do.

I got an slx rear mech and lx 580 2-way release shifters for £54 this week. They'd been delivered before I got the email from them to say it had been despatched!!

Top marks!

Can't agree more. Seem to be using them more and more recently when I'd normally go for CRC.

I remember the days when they used to print a double page spread of loads of stuff with prices in MBUK in the nineties and being dead chuffed when the Tioga surefoot 4 pedals turned up that I'd spent ages saving for.

Good to see nothing's changed! (apart from I'm now clipless!)

I've just realised I'm running some Merlin wheels. I've not had to touch them since day one.

MY LBS they are super my only gripe same price in shop as online when they dont need to post also saw a guy trying out a Rock Lobster in there for size and he fell off just trying to sit on the seat.... funny as can be me and another customer and the other sales person had to go and hide whilst we pi55ed ourselves laughing.

Dont have the range of CRC unfortunately but do stock a fair bit more than listed on website.
New premises miles bigger than old one so expect to see an increase in range.
Vans and trucks turn up daily to collect the post so they must ship / shift some stuff and yes some people did order on christams day mmmmm.

I'm really pleased with them too. My girlfriend broke her Rock Lobster in a head-on collision, called them up and got a replacement for 1/2 price.

They've also been quick and friendly for my stuff, so top marks!
