I've decided it's about time I got a bit more hands on with my bikes other than spraying on GT85 and repairing punctures. I'm also a bit tired of paying through the nose for botched repairs.

Trouble is I'm not very mechanically minded. Does anybody know of any courses or anything which could teach me a bit in the Hampshire area, or failing that any recommendations for a good book or manual.

http://www.parktool.com/repair/

and

You can also use youtube and manufacturers websites for videos of how to do things.

As someone once said on here fettling bikes is only as difficult as opening a can of beans.

I'm not sure its that easy, but it's not that difficult either.

Hello enzee199
I'm not far from you (Fareham) and would be happy to help you out with any thing bike related. I have a pretty well stocked bike tool box/work shop and have been mending/repairing bikes for over 20yrs.

Give me a shout if no one comes up with any help.

Matt
