So thinking about getting some tights for riding this winter, and looking around online it seems you can get some pretty good bibs for the same price or even less....so, is it worth getting bib or tights??

never thought i'd be going down this lycra clad road....

cheers
A

Do you mean bib shorts? Bib shorts/bib tights are both much better than their non-bibbed counterparts. Shorts or tights depends on the temperatures really. 10C and above shorts will be fine, maybe with some knee warmers. Much below that and you'll probably want tights.

bib tights are comfier and keep your lower back warm aswell
Non bib-tights are less faff at toilet stops and better for fit if you are oddly shaped (long legs short body or vice versa)
