My aldi/lidl stand is starting to fall apart so looking to upgrade
Like the look of the park tool pcs10 but is outside my price range.
Anyone got any recommendations?
Thanks

I got this one, quite like it. It’s not the easiest to adjust but for me bike is either in it or not so I don’t mess with it too much
I have a Bike Hut one from Halfords which has served me well for a fair few years. Cost about £50, it could do with some WD40, but still works well despite being left out through multiple northern winters!
It has four feet like a speaker stand and I reckon that makes it a bit more stable than the park tools two feet equivalents IMO.
That Sealey one looks a lot like the Lidl one I bought a few years ago, apart from the colour.
I have the PCS-9, which you can pick up for well under 100 with sales and offers, generally. Less bells and whistles than the 10, but I just see that as less to go wrong with it. Does the job - very robust and stable.
Currently 90 quid at Wiggle with their 10 off 50 code.
The biggest downside is that height adjustment requires loosening/tightening allen bolts rather than a qr, but mine tends to stay at the same height for most stuff.
Following with interest.
That eBay one linked above looks like all the other generic cheap ones. I have a similar wall-mounted one. The quick release on the plastic jaw just isn't strong enough. The screw arrangement on the Halfords one might be better, but I would avoid plastic jaws altogether and spent a bit more if possible.
Could be alright for the money: https://www.wiggle.co.uk/elite-team-workstand/
Personally I'd save up the bit extra for the PCS10. It is a fair bit more user friendly than the PCS9 although both are totally bombproof.
The PCS10 can often be had for not much more than £100 if you search around, find discount codes ,Top Cash Back etc.
So you have spent 40-80 quid on a stand which is now knackered, you are going to spend again on one which will be knackered.
Bit the bullet and go 183 on this and you will have a quality stand for life, with great (in my experience) warranty and spares back up.

My Lidl one finally died so I got a Park one from Evans. They were the cheapest at the time and with Tesco 3 for 1 vouchers probably cheaper to buy than the lidl one was. It's not as easily adjusted but that does mean it'll probably last longer as the stressed areas aren't plastic.
I have a Park PCS9 and I love it. Stays in the workshop most of the time You can transport it but it’s sligtly awkward so not suitable for doing it often.
I would echo the above and say it’s rock solid, good on uneven floors and I never adjust the height and not felt I needed to. It hasn’t got a QR clamp but I like this as I do a few different bikes and it’s quite quick to clamp on those different sizes - the handle spins quickly and it doesn’t take much force to keep things solid.
Just to make you sick I paid £50 for mine from Go Outdoors when they had a 50% off all bike stuff!!
I shared a house with a guy who had a Park PCS9 and used it quite a bit. I wasn't terribly impressed - didn't seem that stable and the clamp doesn't seem terribly well thought out. I guess it's not a bad compromise for the money, but there are definitely better ones out there.
Another Halfords user here. Does everything I ask it to.
I've been happy with my Minoura W3100, coming up for ten years now- a bit over budget but much nicer then the Park9 for head rotation/clamp in my opinion
I got a PCS10 in Dec for just over £100. Its the first stand I have owned so cant compare to anything else but I love it. I don't know why I didn't get one years ago! As mentioned above about the PCS9 - the PCS10 is also solid as a rock and you will never need to buy another stand...ever. I'm sure a PCS9 would be almost as good but not quite as user friendly. Over your lifetime the extra £30ish will be worth shelling out for now IMO
edit...here you go - ex display one for £110 https://www.evanscycles.com/park-pcs10-folding-repair-stand-ex-demo-ex-display-EV361107
I've had one like this but with a different name for getting on for 8/9 years or something. It's been great, had all sorts of different bikes in it and works great.
