While this country is still pissing around with white lines at the edge of the carriageway and trucks can get away with warning cyclists to stay away., the rest of the world (wel at least The Netherlands) is doing this!

Interesting idea. Structurally, it reminds me of the Millenium Bridge in Lancaster:

But I'm not sure about mixing pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists 😕

Local authority is talking about doing similar on a roundabout near my work: http://www.falkirkherald.co.uk/news/environment/futuristic-walkway-in-falkirk-would-be-a-first-for-uk-1-3876356. Believe it when I see it.
