+1 for crosshair's Scott.

I did a shitload of drugs back in the day but I've never done enough hallucinogens to make half of gaudy monstrosities on this thread look good!

My Trigger. Because it looks "tech" and weird. And because its mine. I had to get rid of a bunch of the stickers though.

Some people really need their eyes testing. That Look - jesus fkn christ... And why does it look to have Fox stickered Suntours or something?

That said, I'm going to post an Orange now:

[img] [/img]

Looks light and fast and rad-to-the-max-of-enduro...

Oh, and people posting their own bikes with a load of stem spacers - you lose. Massively.

I do like Jared Garves'xc bike at the mo (although the seat post is less nice and the fork decals are ugly)

You do realise that there are more than a few stem spacers on that?

A few I'd define as 3 or 4. Couple underneath, maybe 1 on top. And its not my own.

This is what I'm talking about:

I think I am the only person in the world who thinks the Yeti SB6C is fugly. In fact I find most Carbon bikes look nasty unless they have a super matt paint scheme on. I hate that shiny tacky plastic look you get on all the turquoise Yeti's.

That Capra does look nice. Bit of a turnaround for them, their schemes have been pretty awful up until now, but I'd happily be seen on that.

For me, this is hard to beat

I like the black SB66 they use in the Fox adverts. Can't find it though.

Lovely lines, I think being lazy I would prefer external hoses/cables but looks very tidy.

There's just something about the clean lines of a hardtail that is aesthetically pleasing

You can't beat the clean, simple lines of a steel hardtail. My personal favourite is Farticus's Curtis, which is absolutely lovely. Any of the Stantons posted up here tend to be things of beauty. Mine aint too ugly, but not quite in the same league

[img] [/img]

Orange hardtails just look 'right'

Just can't see the beauty in that Evil and whatever the black carbon bike with the yellow Mavics is up there.

Both just look like unremarkable far east catalogue frames to me. The Evil's actually quite clumsy looking.

Gotta be a hardtail anyway, surely. Maybe the PP Shan, if just for the paintjobs.

I'd vote for something like this... (unfortunately not mine!)

[img] [/img]

Classic brand, lovely lines, Ti, dirty, just looks like a mountain bike should.

This thread really does show how different we all are. A good 75% I'd be happy to see in a worst looker thread.

Also, why do so many people buy frames that are too small for them?

I'll be making a list of names from this to use on the next Orange FS bikes are horrid rotters thread.

mashiehood - I was just looking for a picture of that very bike. Not normally my bag at all. But some daft sod (hi Chipps) let me out on one last week. Since then I've been openly salivating over them, and wondering about armed robbery
