Are some bcd's better than others when it comes to chain ring choice for 1 x n setups?
Need a new bb30 crankset for 1x10, and looking at the sram x01 for £100 at on-one. 94mm bcd, though, which doesn't appear as well-served as 104mm in the narrow-wide chainring market.

104 is very common, though with SRAM is it removable? the direct mounts are very good.

You can remove the spider form the X01 and use a whole load of direct mount rings

Thanks - didn't realise that, looks like a good option.

Same can be done (direct mount rings) for the Hope cranks and the Race Face cinch crank sets (turbine NEXT and coming soon Atlas)

You can also get spiders for SRAM cranks that convert them to 'normal ' 104 BCD.
