ok i have a floating rotar and its been 'slightly' bent as i damaged it on a rock, now it rubs slightly against the pads, is this a bad thing...just that i can now hear it slightly rubbing... shud i hammer the rotar on a flat surface or get a new rotar....
It may be possible with patience and an oil free adjustable spanner to tweak it back - if you're any good at truing wheels and that kinda thing.
As above just tweak it with an adjustable. Don't hammer it as you risk 'stretching' the metal and making things worse.
