What am i to expect? i mainly want to get my confidence back after a couple too many tumbles. plus i would like some free speed when im xc racing, so an improvement in ST, sharp drop-offs and damp root sections.

You're to expect someone who will give you the tools to push you further than you expected but will stop you doing something stupid. If you don't come out of it at least with the ability to carry more speed over a trail I'd be very surprised. I'm more competent in general on my bike but general trail speed is where I picked up most from this, I'm still a bit nervous on drops despite the fact I know I can do them now.

Oh and yes, what they said. Tony's enthusiasm and general attitude makes even the dumb shit you might do (I fell over riding figure-8s around two sticks) seem enjoyable.

Expect to be looking 30 metres down the trail not 3, expect to change the angle of your brake levers, expect you'll probably learn some new stuff (or at least the correct way of doing stuff you thought you already knew), expect to be pretty knackered by the end of it

sleep well tonight, eat well tonight/breakfast.

take some food drinks along with you (i guess you are going to jedi, rather than him coming to you)

arrive with an open mind, leave hours later enjoying your riding so much more.

enjoy, im dead jealous

My brother had a one to one with Jedi, I saw him straight after, he tried to kiss me. Be warned.

Eat before you go - I tried in vain to snag a decent breakfast before arriving and ended up eating in a deserted Burger King, next to a Currys, in an industrial estate on the outskirts of Stevenage. It was like The Road, with slightly warmer food.

Slight Hijack, but Jedi do you ever do any coaching in Scotland? Have slowly come to realise that a 3k bike and lots of suspension won't make me any less shit when it comes to going down a hill. Coaching is defo the way forward, and from what I read on here your feedback is spot on.
