Wanting to change my old 6 speed Shimano Dura Ace cassette for something a bit easier! But unsure of how to remove the lock ring ... punch and hammer (but seems very soft)?
Looks like this ... I have the standard(?) Shimano lock ring removal tool, but haven't seen this before?

Freewheel-tool required is different and you can't just put I cassette on, you'd need a new hub.

Ah. Are these the ones where each cog screws on?

Some may be splined.
