I recently fitted a new XT BB in my 06 Kona Dawg. Today after investigating some creaking in the crank area discovered that the drive side shell thread appear to have stripped. I cleaned the threads before fitting and followed the instructions. Have I ruined my frame or is the fixable? Any Suggestions?

Get your LBS to take a look and tap it out if they can. It's likely to be fixable.
My on one came like that... 😉

If it's stripped, there won't be anything to re-tap. Argosracingcycles, or BETD will be able to effect repairs if needed.
