I've ordered a Cree light and some 3000ah batteries from DX to use as a helmet light.
Can I use any standard AA battery charger with these batteries or do I need the specific one I was told I should get?
I have a couple of chargers that would fit the bill and I don't see the point in buying another if I can use one of these.

What style batteries?

If youve bought Li-Ion cells you'll also need a specific li-ion charger for them.
Are they the single cells that are protected?
They're the DX red AA 3000ah protected lithium ones
Have got home and looked at my order and discovered that they're Ni-Mh batteries, not lithium so I assume I can use a regular AA charger....

NiMh is fine with constant current chargers- "NiCad chargers"
