After much rummaging around the internet and thinking of options relating to a GPS/mapping solution I think that the best option is a bar mount and case thing with an old iPhone 5s I have lurking around.
It needs a new battery, but ifixit.com will help me with that.
There seems to be about 1 million options available on Amazon and elsewhere, much of which are a goofy and gangly, and won't do the business off-road.. The ideal case would be something waterproof, not too bulky and mount relatively low and flat to the bars.
Any recommends from the STWers?
I have used the Topeak Ride case, seems ok, no issues
I have a spare 5S waterproof topeak ride case and handlebar mount, same as this one here with addition of handlebar mount
