[Closed] Bar height and wrist pain

My current bike has contrived to have its grips a couple of cms lower than my last bike albeit with a slightly shorter reach (just through the quirks of slightly different components).

The ride position itself feels great and really comfortable but I am experiencing some wrist pain after a while. I suspect that this is primarily due to the fact that I've gone from sus. forks to rigid but I was wondering whether bar height might add to this.

My back position is pretty relaxed and there isn't really a lot of weight on the hands so would a slightly higher bar make much difference?

check the sweep of the bars, the orientation of the bars/brake levers/shifter first. saddle to handlebar drop is an important measurement to consider too. a little too much shouldn't make that much difference but a lot will.
generally if it feels comfy the its down to the positioning of the controls ime.
