As per this, exactly the same and just torqued normally, got one on the front and back like this no idea how long

But I don't fancy leaving them like that for much longer

Any ideas where to get replacements? Preferably in a batch? The thread above doesn't give out any form definite answer other than asking the lbs

Cheapest you can find really. Or ask the LBS nicely if they have any lying around in the spares box.

I got some from Wilkos. A pound store might do them also. Halfords etc for a bit more than a quid.

I've cracked them a few times, but I'm sure the Avid instructions are wrong or misleading, depending which one. Some say about 9Nm but that's for raw fit to a post mount with no CPS washer. Torque at that and they crack in my experience. Elsewhere they say 5Nm, which is about right.

Thankfully they've ditched the stupid things on the Trail / Guide brakes.

CRC do a spacer set for £9. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/avid-disc-brake-spacer-set-hardware/rp-prod108156

You still have to use the stupid things on the trail brakes as some of the spacer brackets are OEM only - pile of crap!

Because I went 200 for the rotor as is now the Avid/SRAM standard, which while not 203 standard as it has been for years, it does make the mount adapters standard. e.g. a Post Mount +40 and no CPS washers required. The Trail shouldn't need the CPS ones anyway, only flat washers for some set ups. Something to do with the brake line being in-line or offset according to the cryptic instructions.

Indeed sir I am good spot not many would know I'm sure 😎

My lbs has put me 3 aside, I will take note on the torque as I have been doing them at 9nm as suggested

Will try it at 5nm in future then thanks for the tip

I left the cracked one in today and it seemed fine it's probably been like that for ages tbh but I will change it as soon as I get them

Ask at your LBS - they bin lots of old V-brake blocks every week so will probably let you have some washers for free or a nominal contribution to the workshop tea fund.

EDIT: Got in too late but I'm glad your LBS was able to help.

You are sorted but for anyone else in the same boat, they are not that expensive as part of Avid bolt kit. £3.99 here: Chain reaction link.
