Anyone use these on here over hydraulic brakes as a preference ? I'm very tempted to try them ! Thanks

In performance terms they're terrific but they take more maintenance than (most) hydraulics because you have to manually adjust the "pistons" to account for pad wear.

So for a non ridden hard 5 inch full suss do you think they are capable one finger stoppers ?

they're fine assuming you have decent v-brake levers & not floppy plastic ones, which are a bit scary

Should be fine as long as your not too heavy.

Got them on on 4 out of 6 bikes and they are perfect for xc riding

I'm 13.5 stone and don't hammer my bikes , will be ridden mostly at Woburn

I have BB5's on my Kona Ute, & they bring 170kg of me, kids & school bags to a halt with no problems.
