What version are you using with drops.
Going with Woodchippers BTW.
bb7 road if you want to use road levers
(I also use bb7 road with v-levers on my mudbike - the lever pulls more cable than the brake needs so I can run the pads with a big gap to avoid binding. You do lose some function but it's only a xc mudbike so I don't care)
The road version of the BB7 here on midge bars with cane creek levers for drop bars.
Avid say the MTB version of the BB7 won't work with drop bar levers - a couple of people I know have tried and Avid are correct. Something to do with the amount of cable the levers pull?
Depends - if you want to use road STIs then it'll have to be the road version.
Tektro and Diacompe do a drop bar lever with the correct pull for the MTB version - fine if you are going SS or with bar end shifters.
Hijack - going to the meeting in Woburn Sands tomorrow night OG?

Me too.
As an aside, I also use a conventional bar from time to time and use these which maintain the correct cable pull: http://paulcomp.com/cantilever.html
