Yes thank you tinsy, but you shouldn't call them geeks .

I've got a problem with some Niteflux Photon Max LED lights. (I don't have them to hand BTW)
They have failed after just over a year. The night they went they were working briliantly with no sign of fade or any other problems.
We stopped for a short break and I decided to turn them off, however they never came back on.
If I kept the on switch pressed on they would give the faintest glow for a second before going out.
They have been charged since and the neon on the battery seems to imply all is well. However I get nothing apart for the dim glow if I keep the switch pressed on and that goes after a second.
Earlier in the year they had become intermitant but not on the trail i.e if I tested them pre ride they sometimes didn't work. I put that down to delicate electrical bits and bobs being used in our UK weather.
Any ideas.
Niteflux aren't really being of much help here.

I'm a clever lighting type and have no idea that you are talking about, what you need is a geeky bike lighting type.

Oldgit.

If the lights are less than 2 years old, then they are covered under warranty.

All electrical goods sold in the EU since 1999 are covered by 2 year warranty. Most retailers will tell you otherwise and that they don't recognize this. But it isn't an option, its the law.

They can't opt out of the law.

Check para 17.
