Well, to be honest i love this time of year, when the leaves turn, then eventually fall on the roots and rocks covering the trail with unpredictability...

Leaves have been like that here in NW since late July. Don't know what that means, but it's pretty early.

And summer's just starting in South Africa.... I expect a gloating email from my mates there any day now! Grrr!

I love autumn! I do feel that we didnt really have a 'summer' though, same rain/wind/cloud just a bit warmer. Riding in Spain was the best for this yaer, dry singletrack, hot sun and cold beer.
Had a fab ride in Grizedale forest in the Lakes last week and the sun was shining.

I just want the tox tix to sod off..fed up with the hr long post routine of plucking the minute suckers from were ever they choose to latch on to me.....

Worry ye not, on my tiny screen it looks like a horse chestnut suffering from a severe case of leaf miner damage. Got a good couple of weeks yet.

Maybe it was damion, quite a few horse chesnuts in the area, but shame about all the poplar leaves falling from the trees
