I'm hoping that in 2011, there will be a law that bans outright all Americanisms from the English language!

Personally I don't think so, businesses love to pass on extra costs but IME they seem very reluctant to pass on savings.

It was a joke wasn't it?

You're asking is this country going to extract itself from the mire - well there are 3 possiblities I can see. We get stuck with the same lot for another 5 years - the traders in this country won't like that. We get Dave and his chums - the traders in other countries won't like that. We get some coalition thing - none of the traders will like that. Whoever gets in we'll still have a mountain of debt - my prediction is it will get worse before it gets better.

ps **** the traders, sadly we cant get rid of them now tehy are part of our economy i blame................. faatcha and major and blair and brown and will soon be blaming cameron and or clegg, cameron & milliband? whoever it is as we continue our ever deepening spiral into a fincial services economy
