Anyone know if there is a correct way round to install a 9 speed sram power link, are they directional like the wippermann connex links?

Thanks

Thanks, that means I need to look for another reason why my chain skips on the 11 tooth cassette cog.

Brand new chain and a 150 mile old cassette,so hopefully not a worn cassette problem

If you use the 11t a lot you could knacker it in 150 miles.

Check your rear mech setup...

Likely causes are

bent hanger
bent mech
incorrect cable tension
badly adjusted limit screw
wheel not seated in the drop out properly
freehub wobbling/loose
old cables sticking
gremlins (it's nearly halloween)

I had this with a new chain today. 'twas fixed by twiddling the limit screw. Can't fathom why changing the chain would affect this, but it did.
