Just bought a used one and it's all coming together nicely, except the seat tube's tight as a duck's a**e. Am I idiotically trying to squeeze a 31.6 post into a 30.9 tube?

Yes, cos the one I just sold you takes a 30.9 post... 😉
All the grey full 853 frames do, later ones with 631 top tubes take a 31.6.

Well, using old kit luckily but yep, need to find a smaller shim for my gravity dropper. Shouldn't take too long though
