Does anyone use a convertor band to allow a braze on front mech to be used on standard seat tube like this [url= https://www.merlincycles.com/rsp-braze-on-front-mech-clamp-71156.html ]RSP Braze on Front Mech Clamp[/url]
Is it a neat solution that will save me having to buy a new front mech or will it make it more fiddly to set up?

I have done in the past. Once the mech is attached to the adapter it's no different to a standard band on mech

they're fine - assuming your seat tube is round and you can get the right size
