Hi

I live just outside farnham and usally ride Hindhead and Swinley. I was planning on going up to Ceasars Camp in Aldershot on the weekend with a mate and was wondering if its any good and what kinda style it is.

Many thanks

Henry

Used to, loads as I lived in Fleet. It's what you'd expect heath land to be like really, narrow tracks through the woods and scrubby bits, plenty of unsurfaced roads for the Army. Was an ace BMX track near there too, is it still used?

Ground is mostly well-drained sand, so expect drive-train grinding to be loud.

As Cinnamon-girl says....if the MOD are playing, their toys beat an MTB everytime.

Retreat/exit if asked.

Don't park blocking entrances. Be nice to soldiers.

In other words, just be a decent human being when you ride there.

Defintely XC. Ceaser's Camp must be, ooh, 50m elevation from top to bottom.
