if so whats it like as an all day do everything kind of bike, for a mix of trail centres and lake district ridingg

I have 160-130-100 TALAS on mine. 130 is where I run it most of the time. Depends how slack you like things really, I would have thought 120 would be great but 140 probably optimum for what you describe.
