A cheaper alternative to the thud buster. Want one for a HT to help my knackered back a bit....
Problem is..... I can't find the measurements for them anywhere. They come in 350mm and 400mm.... But nowhere has a diagram showing where that is measured from.... or what the minimum insertion length is! Basic info but it's just nowhere to be found!!
If you have one I would love to know where they measure the length from? Ie. From bottom of post to seat rail?
Secondly what the minimum insertion is.
Thanks for any info guys!
Can't help with the info as I got rid of mine ages ago. It was terrible could hardly ride with it bobbing up and down every time I pedalled. God knows what I was thinking.
I'll be getting the firm spring version and using preload to, hopefully, prevent that. Just can't find sizing specs anywhere.
Bump!
Wife’s knackered knee means she struggles to ‘hover’ over saddle so I was looking for a cheap sus post.
Picked up a USE post from eBay for less than £20, then bought a service kit from USE for £15ish & it’s like new. Maybe worth looking at doing similar.
