Hi
Got 4 days there soon with the family. I know I'm slap bang in the middle of trail centre heaven but was wondering if there are routes that I can get to from the door. I'm limited in terms of access to the car so would prefer that if possible.

CB there's plenty about but you'll need to be a reasonable navigator. Over the hill in one direction you've got the Dyfi forest. In the other direction you've got Lake Vyrnwy ... you'll need to tackle the highest road pass in Wales to reach the lake though. 😉

there is a nice back lane from Dinas Mawddwy to Aberangell - The Howies Dyfi Enduro route and the Dyfi Forest is just North of Aberangell including the legendary World Cup Downhill route.
This back lane goes all the Way to Machynlleth and Ceinws and the ClimachX route.
