Just bought a new (to me) bike and unsure of some of the components, I'm wondering if it might be a Sunn in house brand but I really cannot find any info on them.

Yeah thats UN which is a Sunn brand.

The sunn team sponsor dropped them with no notice iirc, around 97/98.
