Whilst my 2week old ones are back at the menders because I trashed yet another set, would someone lend me theirs (for a price I'll haggle down to under ยฃ1) so that I can trash them too.

You'll have people queueing up I'm sure!

They just fail on me.

There does only seem to be one common factor to all these failures.

By fail, do you mean that they are not making you the awesome rider that you know you are, so they must obviously be faulty?

Isn't the 5 Spot faulty as well, in that the head angle is stopping you ride like a bovine headed version of Danny Hart?

Hora's really some-one immaculately groomed Troll identity isn't he? Here to entertain us on slow days, shirley, he's not real...

@ Hora.

TBH is my Sherman's (1.5steerer) or Lefty were of any use I'd lend them to you (& I was closed) just to get to meet you!

When I say 'service', what i really meant was: did you take them apart to see how they worked? A bit like a 3 year old would with the toy he just got in his happy meal?

Thought so.

Got some 450mm Rigids you could borrow, but again, I'm a bit far south for you...

If you can break these, then well! I'll be impressed... ๐Ÿ˜‰

High speed compression dial frozen in off position.

Well put it this way my forks could be 'away' for upto 2 weeks in what could be the warmest weather we have left.

EEeeeeeee to only own as many bikes/forks as you lot own. ๐Ÿ˜† ๐Ÿ™„

You don't actually know what it does though, so what difference would that make anyway?

If you did that you'd snap the compression shaft and it'd be abit obvious to Fisher.

So you'd already thought about it then?

What I don't get is how this keeps happening. Hora doesn't ride hard or fast, or any combination of the two.

Crashing?

Hora, you Benny-Hill-faced biffa, you don't have a history, you have a reputation. That's a different thing altogether

I think the problem here is there's nothing wrong with them.

Hora has a type of munchausen by proxy

Am I serious? Well its either buy another set whilst mine are away for what will probably be two weeks+ so I'd either not be riding at all (especially if there is a delay/peak period for warranty). I was without forks for almost 4 weeks once (cough Marzocchi) so its not really an experience I want to repeat again.

Alot of STW'ers own many bikes. I own one.

Maybe its time I built a second bike.
