You really really couldn't make it up ๐ฏ

Whilst my 2week old ones are back at the menders because I trashed yet another set, would someone lend me theirs (for a price I'll haggle down to under ยฃ1) so that I can trash them too.
You'll have people queueing up I'm sure!
Oh. My. God.
Hora, You need nuking from orbit.
He'd try to return the nuke for a warranty refund.
They just fail on me. ๐
Obviously if the borrowee forks fail on my patch then its my purse that pays ๐
In 2 weeks? ๐
They just fail on me.
There does only seem to be one common factor to all these failures.
By fail, do you mean that they are not making you the awesome rider that you know you are, so they must obviously be faulty?
Isn't the 5 Spot faulty as well, in that the head angle is stopping you ride like a bovine headed version of Danny Hart?
When I say 'service', what i really meant was: did you take them apart to see how they worked? A bit like a 3 year old would with the toy he just got in his happy meal?
Thought so.
Got some 450mm Rigids you could borrow, but again, I'm a bit far south for you...
If you can break these, then well! I'll be impressed... ๐
High speed compression dial frozen in off position.
Well put it this way my forks could be 'away' for upto 2 weeks in what could be the warmest weather we have left.
EEeeeeeee to only own as many bikes/forks as you lot own. ๐ ๐
Hora is real you know.
He was out riding with us in Calderdale this Monday just gone !

after being adjusted with some Mole Grips?
I have some SID World Cups with a carbon steerer you cold borrow, it already has a SFN installed.
You don't actually know what it does though, so what difference would that make anyway?
You pasty-footed Mong-tard!

If you did that you'd snap the compression shaft and it'd be abit obvious to Fisher.
If you did that you'd snap the compression shaft and it'd be abit obvious to Fisher.
So you'd already thought about it then?
thought about it? I guarantee he's done it on at least 3 previous occasions
got some 700c sus forks you can have f.o.c
they will suit you.......... 8)
is this like the "can I borrow someone's leg armour" thread then you never get back to those kind or stupid enough to offer?
No I had this conversation on what I could do before having to send them in.
I have a history of Lyriks albeit 2step failures.
Thanks morg but look at that thread a few posts down-I said 'cool for leg armour thank you' ๐
What I don't get is how this keeps happening. Hora doesn't ride hard or fast, or any combination of the two.
Crashing?

Hora, you Benny-Hill-faced biffa, you don't have a history, you have a reputation. That's a different thing altogether
Overweight?
You pasty-footed Mong-tard!
Love it!
jamie I've not crashed since Jan

You are aware that Fisher Outdoor Leisure and Fisher Price aren't the same company?
binners if I borrowed your forks it'd be the first time they'd seen some real use offroad ๐
I think the problem here is there's nothing wrong with them.
Hora has a type of munchausen by proxy
Arsewipes! ๐
Hora - please tell me you're joking?
I only read these threads for Stopadoodledoo's comments. Class.
Hopefully see you in the Rusty at some point soon Jason!
Am I serious? Well its either buy another set whilst mine are away for what will probably be two weeks+ so I'd either not be riding at all (especially if there is a delay/peak period for warranty). I was without forks for almost 4 weeks once (cough Marzocchi) so its not really an experience I want to repeat again.
Alot of STW'ers own many bikes. I own one.
Maybe its time I built a second bike.
so its not really an experience I want to repeat again
stop breaking them then you planet-headed flod

So you could have two borked bikes??? ๐
