about a new BMX track being built in southampton?
I was at the Southern Regional BMX meet at Gosport BMX track,in Hampshire yesterday and nothing was mentioned there. The UK Cycling coaches/officials there are in the know about all things BMX locally, but no one mentioned it? I can remember racing at many events at the old Southampton BMX Track. Southampton is long over due a track. The Southern BMX race Scene is as strong as ever with clubs from Andover, Bournemouth and Gosport competing yesterday.

there's a mini track behind scotthall in eastleigh, i had a very quick play on it the other day.
as far as i know they haven't even decided where to put it, yet.
Hmmmm I saw a mention of a new track on one of the bmx sites (radbmx?) whilst googling tracks in the south.
Visited iford track yesterday, nice little track but couldn't help but think location wise it's pretty difficult to get to. Southampton would make a great location for a more south central spot.
The lordshill track is still vaguely rideable, surely that would make a great spot to be redeveloped?
