admittedly it wasn't a shimano unit it was a Campag square taper. within 2 months of fitting and less than 100 miles i found the pedals very difficult to turn by hand and discovered it was the bottom bracket. felt like one of the ball bearings was out of line and all notchy. it's also developed a small amount of play.quite suprised really as shimano units have always lasted me years.anyone else experienced similar?
