Hey ive got the chance to get my hands on a 2nd hand 04 Bullet frame in mint cond and in the back of my mind was the thought on making it up lightish for xc/allmountain duty.Anyone experienced one of these beauties set up like this.I was curoius how well they peddle.I know this isnt there natural habitat but could b a goer and very retro with it
You can make them ridable, but TBH the geometry is for going down. Plus they build pretty heavy. I'd make a great trail centre bike, but I wouldn't necessarily want to do too many all day rides on it

built up for a dh trip i did in february
its great for dh but i do find pedalling abit awkward (probably due to the high bb) and it feels like i am pedalling a bmx
I have a new one built up for playing round on DH and the like. I have used it for longer pedally rides but to be honest it a bit heavy. However it is tremedous fun going downhill.
