Has anybody had it done by the likes of Argos etc, how much for stripping the forks etc anything else I should know.
Looking at having lowers and crown done.

£60 for bare fork legs according to their site, don't think they strip them as my mate had to do his himself. Very nice job they made too.

Such an easy DIY job. Cost about £20 all in.
Looks good mooman but I fancy the crown doing as well, guess they would have to be stripped by the professionals.
Forks are fox so was thinking either Mojo or TF.

If you have gone to all the trouble of repainting the forks why replace the naff stickers? They look rubbish - all my bikes get destickerd as a matter of course
I've had forks powdercoated for about 20 quid all in. Tenner to get them blast shot, tenner to coat them. Find an ironwrought making place to get them shot, then ask those guys where they get their gates powdercoated.
