....swingarm alignment/centering?
I replaced the pivot bearings on my two year old Orange Five yesterday but spent ages faffing trying to align the swingarm.
The instructions are basic on the Orange website and indicate its a simple job. I didn't think so.
In the end I opted for the look positionally wise (obviously) and gauged (visually) whether the distance from inside of swingarm (near the pinch bolt) to downtube was equal both sides and the distance from bearing to outer edge of swingarm was equal both sides. This took several efforts and lots of moaning from the missus as I took up valuable kitchen space.
Has anyone experienced this and what method for centering or alignment did you use?? The reason being is I'm still not sure about my handwork and will probably take another look at this afternoon before tomorrows ride.
Anyone?
