One of you must have one. I know the cons - quite expensive, heavy and a bit of a faff to set up. But I have slept in one and it's good fun, and the kids thought it was great. For single nights in random places, any real reason why not to get one (or two)?

Well, there's the need to have three mounting points at roughly the right separation for one.
Other than that, they do look like fun and I am sorely tempted by one myself. Until such time as that happens, I'm going to be happy with my normal hammock and tarp setup though.
