Seen a good deal on an 2012 orange st4 frame and was thinking of building one up.
Any one own one and if so could you review it for me with pics if possible please...
Search over the last year/18 months on here + you'll find loads of opinions.
2012 frame is allot better than the older frame IMHO. Quite a niche bike, so worth trying one if you can before committing.

What size frame do you ride, I'm normally a 17" or medium but they only make em in 16" or 18".
I'm 5 ft8 by the way...
I ride a 16" and find the fit spot on, especially the reach with a 80mm stem. Height-wise, I'm a bit shorter than you with a 30" inside leg. Not sure if there's much difference geometry-wise between the older and newer models.
ok, well, i have a 31" inside leg, so unfortunatley that still puts me inbetween?
im hoping to find one built up locally that i can try just to get the size sorted but dont want to hang around too long.
have you any idea of the frame weight or full bike weight / what spec list...
Not sure on frame weight and I swapped parts over from a hardtail to build mine (XT, RS Revs, Pro2/DT 5.1 wheels) and could do with losing a few pounds, though it doesn't feel heavy to ride, espically when climbing.
