Working down there in a couple of weeks and wondered
if there was any riding to be had close by for a few night rides
Some good riding near me if you fancy a working holiday sorting my new flat out Chris 😆
You can certainly link together some good routes near Godalming & you're not a million miles away from the Surrey Hills honeypots. Currently it's getting a bit muddy in a few places due to recent rain and neddy activity but not too bad. Sand is also an issue in a couple of places locally. Are you looking for daytime rides or planning on getting out after work? If it's a night ride you're after then some local knowledge may be a good idea to get the best out of a couple of hours.
Mark you havnt moved to Godalming have you . Hows it going not spoke since Germany .
Simwit just looking for some hacking aroung after work to avoid the pub until it has been earned .
A couple of routes that could suit you are out to the Devils Punchbowl and back for one ride and G'ming to Hascombe (the White Horse is good) over to Cranleigh and back to G'ming via the Downs Link to Bramley as the other. Piha off of here and myself head out most wednesdays if you find you need a guide.
